Once upon a time in there were a couple of chicks. They loved to run and play in the sunshine. But one day, a big wolf came along. He was very hungry and he wanted to eat the chicks.
The first chick built a house of hay. The second chick built a house of sticks. And the third chick, she was very smart, built a house of bricks.
When the wolf came to the first house, he just huffed and puffed and it blew the house into pieces. The first chick scampered to his sister's house.
The wolf came to the second house and exhaled and puffed and it blew the house apart. The two chicks fled to their sister's house.
But when the beast came to the third house, he breathed heavily and puffed but it wouldn't move. The chicks were protected inside.
Finally, the predator was too worn out to try any longer. He went away defeated.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be prepared and to build a secure house. They lived happily in the end in their brick house.
